Juan Diablo Pablo: Costume Design

Juan Diablo Pablo is an undergraduate thesis film by Ralph Pineda and Dyan Sagenes. The concept of the film is a silent thriller which shows how people are judged in afterlife. This thesis film will be presented at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde as the requirement for the Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Digital Filmmaking.


On this film, Ezar Co has been part as a costume designer. Behind the costume design, they present their ideas and pegs of the looks for the cast. As the designer visualize their ideas for Juan Diablo, he got inspired from the 18th century fashion and blended it with modern era for the costume of the main character.

For the Tagahatid, their idea was baggy for the thin and tight for the fat with the inspiration of a clown.
